“Do you watch Dancing With The Stars?” A good friend of mine asked a few seasons ago.
“No,” I responded with my nose slightly stuck up in the air. That would be like being hooked on that “Idol” show.
I can’t believe what I’m about to admit…I have actually been watching Dancing With The Stars. I’m not at the point where I’m sayin’ stuff like, “Oh my God, I have to get home to see DWS.” But, I must admit that I have gotten into the flash and glam of it all. I even find myself making judgement calls like: “He’s [The Situation] is going to get low scores for technicality.” And, I’ll say, “There’s Bruno being mean, again.” It’s crazy…since I never thought I’d be a DWSer.
Last night, I even got out of my bed (that’s where I watched the show) and voted for my favorite contestants. I hope I did it correctly; I want my votes to count. I voted for Audrina and Tony (good dancing), Brandy and Maksim(good dancing and great chemistry), Bristol and Mark (I’m a sucker for a sweet personality), Jennifer and Derek (excellent execution, of course), and Kyle and Lacey (he’s a sweetie and I like his youthful quirkiness).
And, an “A” for effort goes out to the other contestants.
Will I watch tonight? I’m not sure…I’m NOT hooked on the show…yet.
